| Graphics Card Overclocking - Worth It? yes you are quite right. overclocking the Gpu will get you only a 5% increase... but think of this... add a 5% increase from your graphics card + 10-15% from your processor + 8% from your memory and you have aprox... 20% increase.. which is not bad when paying only 50 euros for cooling devices.. buy a lian-li case and good fans..light it up nicely and you will have 25+% increase.. check out watercooling??? get up to a minimum of 30% if done right(cpu speaking) |

| the article focuses on the GPU overclocking solely though, and it is true that by overclocking only the GPU can hardly see any increase worth the risc.

| If I overclock my ti4200 from 275/600 to 285/640 it only gives me about 350 extra 3dmarks (2001) so It's indeed not worth it, unless you do it like uncle Calantak. |
