Default Global Foundries 45nm, 32nm and 28nm caught on vid

Computex Taipei 2009: Tom Sonderman, Vice President of Manufacturing Systems and Technology of Global Foundries, just gave us an exclusive introduction to its upcoming chip manufacturing technology and what the new company is currently busy working on.

In the video we get a first look at not only the upcoming 45nm Istanbul high performance wafer, but also 32nm for embedded and graphics and even low power 28nm bulk DRAM wafers for use with wireless networks and handheld devices. Both 28nm and 32nm production will begin in bulk from next year.
