Gigabyte to release Radeon HD 4770 with 1GB of memory While Sapphire and HIS are delivering custom-cooled Radeon HD 4770s, Gigabyte has decided on making and releasing a RV740 card boasting double the amount of memory available on current cards. Codenamed GV-R477UD-1GI, Gigabyte's 1GB Radeon HD 4770 has stock frequencies - 750 MHz for the GPU, 3200 MHz for the memory, 640 Stream processors, a 128-bit memory interface, and CrossFireX support. The 1GB card is listed in the EU with prices around 117 Euro, which makes it some 30 Euro more expensive than the 512MB version.
