| Gigabyte Mainboards Recover Operating Systems Gigabyte Technology said its new premium-class mainboards for socket AM2 processors would be supplied with a special utility that backs up operating system and can recover computers after crashes. Gigabyte announced its Xpress3 software suite along with its S family of Nvidia nForce5-series mainboards designed for various users with different demands and income. The new breed of mainboards is developed to support the new socket AM2 processors for AMD, thus, the new platforms provide DDR2 memory slots in addition to other benefits of the new AM2 architecture and nForce5 chipsets.
