Default GeForce 8800GS 384MB Pics & Specs

The Chinese website Yeston has pics and specs of the upcoming GeForce 8800GS 384MB posted today. The site doesn’t contain a whole lot of info aside from the basic specs and pictures but another site is claiming to have benchmarks here

The quick test shows the 8800GT leads about 27% comparing to 8800GS. But their price gap is about 50% in our local market.

The price of 384MB 8800GS and 768MB 8800GS is 1199CNY(165USD) and 1499CNY(204USD). Price is simular to HD 3850, so we can expect a mid-end VGA card war is incoming.
8800 GS the card to get now? They are destroying their own mid/lowrange, who in their right mind will buy 8600GTS, even the 8600GT is borderline feasible

It helps keeping people from buying HD3850/3870.

Yeah, AMD gets a beating on 2 sides, Intel and Nvidia.
Hope they survive.
