GeForce 8800 GT Mega Heatsink Roundup Many of you know that NVIDIA's 8800 GT can run rather hot under load. Our GTs ran at over 90C. That spells disaster in a hot case. Let HardOCP show you the way to cool down that white hot GT while not breaking the bank and getting great performance. http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/articl...50aHVzaWFzdA== |
Are they allowed to call it a mega roundup without testing the AC S1 with 120mm fan tied to it? |
1 Attachment(s) good testing, high/low fan speed, good dBA reading and another test-room to add to the list where it's deadsilent and dBAmeter reads: Quote:
I'll be moving soon; so will have to do some re-tests with dBA levels, and most likely have to retest most fans too, since I'm moving to a "dead quiet" region with no highways, railroads or big roads nearby. Concerning the outcome of the test, place the AC S1 without fan somewhere ~20°C cooler than stock @ auto, and with Turbo Fan module it's in the lead by few degrees :) with same fan 5°C cooler than HR-03 http://www.abchw.com/node/19 |
see, that is a MEGA roundup, I like the thinking of those people that if you can mount 2 120s you do it =P |
