Default GECUBE Introduces the World’s First Radeon X1000 AGP Series

Taipei, Taiwan, December 20, 2005--Info-Tek Corporation, the major supplier of the world’s leading graphics card brand GECUBE™, today announced the world’s first AGP RADEON X1000 Series Graphics products with the launch of the RADEON® X1300 and RADEON® X1600 graphics cards.

The simultaneous release of the GECUBE RADEON® X1300 and GECUBE RADEON® X1600 deliver the latest generation of high performance graphics cards to users of AGP based systems allowing them to easily upgrade without replacing other key PC components such as motherboards. Both cards possess 256MB of DDR2 memory which enhances game visuals and real-time responsiveness, this coupled with extremely realistic colours at higher resolutions (1920x1440 and 2048x1536) give users a real gaming experience in an often surreal gaming world.

The GECUBE RADEON X1000 AGP series all support Avivo technology. An unprecedented 10 bit processor via Avivo’s display engine enhances the quality of video capture and playback delivering 64 times the number of colours currently available in PCs.

The GECUBE RADEON X1000 AGP series also support ultra-threading technology and Shader Model 3.0, which groups together brand new pixel and vertex shaders in order to create accurate lighting and shading, drastically improving the 3D gaming experience.

“Our main goal is to fulfill all of our gaming customers’ desires,” said Larry Yeo, General Manager of Info-Tek's Multimedia Business Unit. “Because the AGP interface is still widely used, Info-Tek will continue to support the standard by developing cutting edge graphics cards. For gamers seeking the perfect gaming environment, the GECUBE RADEON X1000 AGP series is an extremely cost-effective upgrade that delivers stunning performance to their systems without a major overhaul.”
