Foxconn seizes journalists´ assets over stories of workers´ woes IPOD MANUFACTURER Foxconn persuaded a court to freeze the bank accounts of two journalists who reported that the firm mistreated workers in China. A Chinese subsidiary of Taiwanese Foxconn, Hongfujin Precision Industry Shenzhen, wants $3.8m in damages from the journalists. It will only take the journalists around 800 years to earn such a sum, their employer, the China Business News noted. |
