| First 3D Printed Rifle Fired Successfully in Canada A Canadian 3D tinkerer is the first to fire a 3D printed rifle 'successfully', but only if you have a low threshold of what constitutes successful. The printed rifle was fired 12 times before a bullet was put through the barrel and that shot split the receiver and barrel.
