| I updated from 1.0x to 1.5 beta without a problem. Some plugins are not 1.5 compatible though.

| suppose so, upgraded from 0.7 to 1.5 beta's by downloading the beta's and installing them in the default folder I didn't uninstall the previous version easy, no brainer, didn't loose any setting or bookmark, only lost 1 extension

| Lost 5 extensions, Mouse gestures included  browsing seems faster
