 |  Fingerprint sensors fall below $5 While fingerprint sensors are seen as a "top of the range" smartphone item, the cost of providing them is now minimal. Fingerprint sensor prices have fallen below $5 recently, and are likely to drop further in 2016. The price drop is noticeable.
