Default Fingbox Network Security and Troubleshooting Device

The Fingbox seems to be a rather unique blend of aesthetics, functionality and convenience. It is a rather elegant unit which is extremely easy to set-up and use, offering a number of firewall-like abilities such as blocking devices from the network or the internet, as well as a number of useful tools to record user presence, diagnose network connectivity performance problems, security vulnerabilities and detect nearby Wi-Fi devices and Wi-Fi attacks. It does this without inspecting all of your traffic and without slowing down your internet connection. As a cloud-based unit, it offers set-and-forget functionality, keeping itself up-to-date automatically and requiring no ongoing subscription fees. The flexibility of being able to use this device with almost any router and being able to keep its functions even if you upgrade your network is a plus. Because of its cloud-nature, network administration can happen anywhere as long as you have your Fing account and either the Fing app or access to the Fing Web App via a web browser. The unit itself is backed by a two-year warranty and judging by the internals, is relatively well built.
