Default eVGA launches mITX chassis: Hadron Air and Hydro

we saw this news pop up at BenchBros

eVGA is a company built on the premise of hardware for gamers. Their mainstay is graphics cards, but they also produce their own motherboards as well as sell PSUs and custom SLI bridges. This time they are getting in on the case action, with two models: the Hadron Air and Hadron Hydro.

Both chassis are designed for mITX systems, with the Air measuring 305mm in height and 169mm in width, and both come pre-packed with an EVGA 500W Gold power supply.

The power supply is a 40A single rail, and the case will accommodate double slot GPUs up to 267mm. Along with two external USB 2.0 ports, the chassis also supports two drive bays (2.5″/3.5″).

The Hydro edition is ‘to be released’, but features a raised top for radiators and users who wish to use water cooling.
As you can see from the general design, the front end is raised slightly in order to ensure air flow under the case along with the custom design PSU. The front panel and top panel both support two fans each, with two fans coming with the case.

No word on price or availability as of yet, although if I remember correctly from talking to EVGA at Computex, they should be available in the US by October.
