| Enermax Working on 2500W PSU Enermax is said to be working on a PSU with 2500W capacity. That's enough DC power to start a diesel-electric locomotive, one would imagine. Not much is known about this PSU, except that its +12V output is over 200A. The idea behind a PSU with such hazardously high capacity could be to help extreme overclockers who otherwise use two or more PSUs with multi-GPU OC benches. Now with enthusiasts gaining interest in 2P LGA2011 setups, and ever more powerful graphics cards, such a PSU might just find its market. http://www.techpowerup.com/161905/En...2500W-PSU.html |
