| E6700, E6600 and E6300 discontinued Intel has announced that it won’t be selling some of its famous CPUs, including the E6700, E6600, E6300 and X6800. They simply reached their end of life cycle and so have the E6420 and E6320. All these CPUs belong to the Merom Core 2 Duo generation, some with more some with less cache. They reach end of life in end of January but don't worry you should be able to buy them for at least month or two. http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?op...39&Ite mid=35

| seeing as the E6420 and E6300 were more expensive in shops than their 1333 FSB brothers, no surprise they are discontinued

| I was under the impression these were all EOLed already? Hm. E4300, E4400, E4500, now E4600 were all launched at the same $140 price, just a big difference in Mhz between 1.8 and 2.4Ghz. E4700 @ 2.6Ghz is launching at the same price in just a few weeks. |
