| e-VGA 7900 GT CO Superclock beats 7800GTX and Radeon X1800X EVGA 7900 GT CO Superclock card is definitely the winner here. It is faster than both of the cards and it probably deserves €100 extra that you need to pay to get it. It is probably the fastest single slot card available.

| Does not have 512MB memory the 512MB x1800XTs have that everyone is throwing at us at crazy low prices. Newegg sells them for 330. Also the stock cooler looks extremly weak for those clocks. |

| looks at the benchmark numbers; 256Mb is still enough, even at insane resolutions with plenty of AA/AF the 7900GT is still ahead. (in BF2 the ATI is ahead; that's about it) you don't need 512Mb for gaming most people don't have monitors capable of resolutions where the memory will be seen as an advantage, and then you come back to the Docs valid argument that Extremely High Resolution gaming needs not one, but two and more VGA cards in order to make it run fluently!

| see, you don't NEED it yet but it will come because it's far easier to make a game look good by putting in high resolution textures than with other features textures are also the point where current games are still lacking (Quake 4 anyone?) |

| when the time comes that you NEED 512Mb, we'll be maybe 2 generations further; making the argument for the current situation... invalid
