![]() | In Q3 2010, Intel plans to launch its first netbook Dual-core based Atom N550. We wrote about it a few times but to refresh your memory it’s a dual core processor with 1.5GHz frequency and 1MB cache. It stops at 8.5W TDP. Intel has a plan to release a second netbook platform to sit next to currently well know single cores. Single-core Atom N455 or N475 based netbooks with 512MB to 1GB memory and 16 to 32GB SSD or 160GB to 250GB storage running on Linux or Windows 7 starter in 10.2 inch cost some $249 to $349. This is what Intel suggests its partners as the price range. http://www.fudzilla.com/content/view/18831/41/
