DH photoshop bench V2 and Adobe Photoshop CS V2 (v9)
 

Some of you may be aware that Adobe recently released Photoshop CS2 (v9), an update to CS1, this is quite an overhaul aesthetically but there are also some quite vast improvements to the coding, specifically if you are running an HT enabled processor.

I havent to this point ran tests on an AMD64+ processor but a Dothan shows minor improvements also.

ive recorded 26%+ gains with a 3.8ghz Prescott (lower times are better). If you are using internet explorer and you are caching the old index page, hold control key and force refresh.

I am also aware some other sites use our benchmark for their reviews, please note results do not carry between versions of photoshop so in testing please run the same version across the board and inform your members and readers of the changes.
