DFI is a well established brand in the enthusiast hardware arena. The company has fought an uphill battle against the likes of ASUS and ABIT to achieve a respectable following in this tough to please market. DFI has made major in roads since releasing their LANParty line of board, custom catered to the overclocking circles. DFI’s latest Athlon64 board centered on the ATI Radeon Xpress 200 chipset shows again how far DFI has come.

With a little determination and an Asetek WaterChill CPU cooling solution, we were able to get the RDX200 CF-DR board up to a staggering 300MHz FSB using an Athlon64 X2 3800+ CPU. However, the board was prone to frequent lockups and random instabilities. The sweet spot for the boards seemed to be at a 260MHz FSB
