DFI LANParty nF4 BIOS update Four new BIOS are ready for download. Here is the differences between the dash numbered BIOS's: -1 uses 3.26 ram table general purpose (most ram) -2 uses 3.16 ram table UTT/BH -3 uses 3.10 ram table TCCD 1) The 3/10 ram table limits you to 2 Memory Modules, Dual Channel, in Orange Slots only. 2) BIOS's starting with 3/16/05 and newer, the 2 Memory Modules could go into either the Yellow or Orange slots. This means BIOS's with RAM tables 3/16 and 3/26 can have 2 Memory Modules, Dual Channel, in either Yellow or Orange slots. 3) Yellow slots 1 and 3 are suppose to be better suited for Higher Vdimm voltages and therefore UTT/BH-5 types of Memory Modules. 4) Orange slots 2 and 4 are suppose to be better suited for normal-to-lower voltages and therefore TCCD/TCCC/TCC5 types of Memory Modules. http://www.lejabeach.com/DFI/dfinf4u...ltradbios.html |
