 |  DFI Infinity 975 X/G Overclocking Guide The DFI Infinity 975X/G (also called the 975X) has been regarded by many to be one of the best deals in terms of price/performance for overclocking Intel Core 2 Duo processors. At $165 (at the time of this writing), it simply can’t be beat – even unmodded. The original bioses that were supplied required a lot of settings to be manually entered to get even a modest overclock on anything lower than an E6700.
