I know, I know, Activision is reporting shipped units, not the number of units that actually sold, but these are the only numbers available so far. That said, are any of you playing Destiny? Activision announced this morning it has shipped over $500 million worth of MMO-shooter Destiny into "retail stores and first parties worldwide" as of day one. The number is a little messy to extrapolate because it mushes up the "shipped" dollar figure we try to avoid reporting when possible, with the nutritious digitally distributed "sold" number.
