Dell Sells out of $10 000 Gaming Computers
 

Dell Inc., the world’s largest maker of personal computers, said Tuesday it has sold all its limited edition XPS 600 Renegade systems that packed the top-of-the range offerings from Intel Corp., Nvidia Corp., innovative physics accelerators from Ageia and cost around $10 000.

and it included in these nsystems a little paper saying : YOU STUPID BUYER, YOUR 10.000 DOLLAR RIG WILL BE OUTDATED IN ONE YEAR

It proves how many medical doctors, lawyers and CEOs are willing to pay for the high performance rig at extreme price. Time is money; when you have the money and not the time, the market offers you what you want in exchange for your money.

Those people don't have time to game :)

don't agree, I don't game much as an MD, but I do game (3hours/week in weekend, that's still 150 hours / year!!)
