DeepCool Intros Pangu SW-RD Mid-Tower Case

DeepCool rolled out the Pangu SW-RD ATX mid-tower case. Built in red and black, in a design that isn't particularly new, the Pangu SW-RD introduces multi-color LED lighting, in the form of two RGB strips, a power adapter that plugs into a 4-pin Molex connector, and a control pod that lets you pick color. The case features matte-black interiors. Storage areas include three 5.25-inch drive bays, from which one is concealed (we wonder why); and six 3.5-inch/2.5-inch bays spread across two detachable cages of three bays, each.

The case seats standard ATX, micro-ATX, and mini-ITX motherboards; and features 7 expansion slots. Cooling system includes a 120 mm rear exhaust (fan included), and provisions for two 120 mm front intakes, one 120 mm bottom intake, and two 120 mm top exhausts. Front panel connectivity includes two each of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0/1.1 ports; and HD audio front-panel jacks. Measuring 498 mm x 205 mm x 477 mm (LxWxH), the case dry-weighs 7.5 kg. It has room for CPU coolers as tall as 165 mm, and graphics cards as long as 310 mm with the 3.5-inch/2.5-inch drive cage in place, and up to 400 mm, with it removed. DeepCool didn't announce pricing or availability details.
