CP Technology announces the PowerColor A300M-E1394 Pentium 4 mainboard with the ATI RADEON™ 9100 IGP chipset

Taipei, Taiwan - February 05th, 2004 - C.P.Technology Co., Ltd , a leading designer and manufacturer of VGA cards, mainboards, and systems, announced today the PowerColor A300M-E1394 motherboard, which implements the ATI RADEON™ 9100 IGP (RS300) north bridge and IXP150 south bridge chipset, providing a very powerful integrated graphics solution.


The PowerColor A300M-E1394 mainboard is built with the RADEON™ 9200 graphics
core, and shares a maximum of 128MB system memory. It supports Intel® Pentium® 4
Processors with a Front Side Bus (FSB) of 400 MHz, 533 MHz or 800 MHz and the Hyper
Threading Technology. In addition it supports dual channel 128-bit DDR400 SDRAM up to
6.4 GB/second bandwidth, LAN, 6 channel AC’97 audio, 6 x USB2.0 ports, AGP 8X slot,
and two Firewire IEEE1394 ports. The form factor of the PowerColor A300M-E1394
mainboard is Micro ATX.


The Radeon™ 9100 3D graphics engine supports Hardware DirectX 8.1 and Pixel Shader
1.4, ensuring an unprecedented graphics experience with a resolution of up to 2048 x
1536 @32bpp. The Unified Driver provides support for all Radeon™ discrete and
integrated graphics products. The Hardware MPEG II (DVD) decoding acceleration engine
(iDCT) provides a high quality playback experience. The Radeon™ 9100 IGP also
supports Triple Display and ATI Surround -ViewTM Technologies as well as anisotropic
texture filtering and full screen Anti-Aliasing (FSAA).
