 |  Cougar GXD Digital PSU Lets You Tweak Output Voltages Cougar's new GXD line of high-end PSUs may not be the first to offer software based control, but it could well be the first to let you tinker with output domains such as 3.3V and +12V. The PSU's control software, which interfaces with it over USB, lets you tweak key voltage domains by ±3%. In theory, this should let you raise voltages under heavy load. Apart from electric control, the software lets you monitor the PSU's temperature, and control its fan-speed curve in relation to temperatures and load. It also lets you monitor the PC's input power and power output, and efficiency in real-time. Cougar GXD series come in two variants, 800W, designed for gaming PCs with up to two high-end graphics cards, and 1050W, for up to three. http://www.techpowerup.com/201649/co...-voltages.html |
