Corsair CMGTX8 high end X79 2400Mhz C10 8GB Quad Channel kit
Corsair had been a bit quiet lately with high RAM end kits. Especially for the socket 1155 SB platform many enthousiast expected a 2133C7 kit. In fact a bit too quiet for my liking, as they are usually up in front with a premium high end RAM kit.
Though with the launch of the X79 next week Corsair has started to bin a lot of ICs to rate this Quad Channel kit at a whopping 2400Mhz. This with just 1.65Vdimm.
The CAS latency of 10 seems not that impressive at first glance, though that's up to us at the [M] lab to find out if it has any real importance...
Once the promised high end boards are rolling in, we will give these dimms a nice thorough workout...
