Coolermaster Centurion 534

Seems that everyone is trying to get in on the "aluminum chassis" craze. Well, let's be honest up front, this is *not* an aluminum chassis, it is an aluminum bezel, and an SECC chassis. Aluminum is a fairly expensive material, and a full chassis is just not cost effective. Pretty? Sure! Reasonably priced? Well.... that is all depending on your budget! "All Aluminum" is something that portions of the market will pay for: read; *ALL* of us "want" an all aluminum chassis, but not *all* of us can afford them, so... the market is a bit exclusive to those that want and *can* shell out the $$$ for the whole aluminum package. So, CoolerMaster gives us the best of both worlds. A chassis with the economy of SECC steel construction with a clean, functional aluminum front bezel. Makes for a pretty classy machine in my book. Maybe not the lightest, (22 lbs.) but then.. if you are loading in heavy water cooling equipment, uber huge heatsinks, butt loads of hard drive space, and a honkin' power supply that would make rural cities light up... "weight" is not your concern, now is it!?! I also feel a bit safer with my equipment inside a case that can take a lick. Aluminum is a soft metal, and very susceptible to scratches and dings. Light as it may be, it is easily damaged. Full aluminum has it's place, just not right here...
