Cooler Master Raises the Wattage on Silent Pro M with 850W and 1000W

Cooler Master announces today two new additions to the popular line of power supplies with the Silent Pro M850 and M1000; providing up to 66A and 80A respectively on a single 12V rail. In addition, these units operate at minimal noise levels thanks to the patented Cooler Master silent formula.

Silent Pro M850 and M1000 are based on three parts, which formulate the Cooler Master Silent Formula. The first is a highly efficient circuit design that not only reduces heat generated, but minimizes the amount of power lost during the energy conversion process. With this design, users can enjoy a quieter system since lower heat generation means that fans donít have to spin as quickly. In fact, the high-end Silent Pro M Series power supplies come with 80 PLUS Bronzeģ certification which guarantees high efficiency, and meet Energy Star, Blue Angel, and RoHS requirements.

Secondly, the Silent Pro M Series has unique ďhot spotsĒ that draw heat away from hot areas with copper plates. These copper plates conduct heat almost twice as well as traditional aluminum. This heat is then transferred to a series of aluminum heat sinks that excel at dissipating heat. From there, a huge 135mm fan blasts away heat by delivering 1.5 times greater airflow than conventional 120mm solutions. Heat is then exhausted away through a unique honeycomb outer casing that minimizes airflow resistance for silent and effective cooling.

The final part of the Cooler Master Silent Formula is a selection of accessories. Silent Pro M PSUs combine a modular design and flat cabling, which only makes things neater inside the case, but also helps minimize airflow resistance for less noise and better thermal performance.

Of course, every Silent Pro PSU meets Cooler Masterís stringent quality standards. Each one complies with Intelís ATX 12V v2.3 standard for increased compatibility. Cooler Master also utilizes Japanese-made capacitors for ultimate reliability, and each one comes with Cooler Masterís 5-year warranty.

With the Cooler Master Silent Formula, the Silent Pro Series redefines the silent computing standard. If excessive PC noise is driving you insane, a Cooler Master Silent Pro PSU is the solution. You wonít hear it working, but your system will know it is.
