CMI Computer's cs807b Mid Tower

Are you one of those people who doesn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a case just for looks. But you still want both worlds, you still want the computer case to look better than a plain grey box. If this is your mind set, I suggest you check out CMI Computer's cs807b Mid Tower computer case.

CMI's cs807b computer case was shipped in a plain brown box. Opening the box revealed an inner box and some peanuts scattered about. Nice to see a budget case double boxed.

Inside the second box is the case surround in plastic and protected by foam. The inner white box is pretty plain and does not contain any good information.

Features:

USB2.0 & audio port
Case Size: Extra Middle Tower
Dimension (DxWxH) mm: 430x200x412
Motherboard ATX
5.25"(Exposed) 4
3.5"(Exposed) 2
3.5(Hidden) 6
Expansion Slot 7
Metal Thickness 0.7mm
Power Supply: P4 500W
Color: Black
Optional: Temperature Display, 3 RGB Flood Lights & Side Aquare Window
P4 500W P.S.
Exterior:

The first thing I noticed about this case was that it is very light. Maybe 10 lbs with the PSU included. It is steel, not aluminum. The steel is very thin but the case is indeed sturdy.
A flat black paint is present on the outside of the case. This paint job is very good.

A window is present on the cs807b, which is a plus for a budget case. No plastic sheet was provided to protect the window like on many other cases, but there were no scratches. In the middle of the window is an etching of a globe with an orbital pattern. This is not really my taste in images, but the image is done very well.
