Club 3D GeForce 6600 Passive Edition 256MB
As the impact of the home PC becomes ever more invasive in to the living room, hardware manufacturers are having to take on different considerations when it comes to designing their parts. While many a PC user won't complain too much about having a desktop computer with a number of fans whirring away, put that same system into your living room as a Media Center PC and the complaints about noise will start to come thick and fast.
Thus, there is now a solid market emerging for machines and components that eschew noisy fans wherever possible in favour of passive cooling, and nowhere is this trend becoming more obvious is than in the realm of video cards. Today, we'll be spending some time with such a board - Club 3D's GeForce 6600 Passive Cooling Edition.
