Default China puts quantum cats in space

China appears to be investing in a huge number of potentially dead or alive cats as it builds one of the world's biggest wireless quantum networks.

A A satellite launched earlier today is designed to distribute quantum-encrypted keys between relay stations in China and Europe. If it goes as planned the result could enable unprecedented levels of security between parties on different continents.
