Cheetah 15K ST3146854LC 146G SCSI Drive

Founded in 1979 Seagate was the first company to build 5.25-inch hard disc drives for the PC. For the past 25 years Seagate has been creating bigger and better ways for information to be stored and distributed to buisnesses, media, and consumers like you and me. The Cheetah 15K ST3146854LC SCSI Drive is a media solution with many purposes in mind from file servers, network storage, to multi-media workstations where reliable and fast data tranfer is key to being successful and out in front of the competition. The Cheetah is not for your everyday home user but geared towards media professionals and server applications that need to access large amounts of data quickly. This drive was differant from many I have worked with in the past with it's fast I/O speeds and SCSI interface making testing somewhat difficult. Besides the Cheetah 15K drive I was also sent one LSI Logic Ultra320 SCSI card that is 64bit 133mhz PCI-X and 32bit 33mhz PCI compatible. I would like to stress this is not for your usual home PC unless you need serious storage that needs fast I/O speed.!
