| Build your own 9-Cell Battery for the MSI Wind Fed up of your puny 3 cell-er? Dismantling the battery couldn't be any easier, although putting it back together might be a little tricky. A quick trial fit and here it goes. There's plenty of testing to do, charging and discharging to re-calibrate the sensor (if at all possible). Then I'll see what the rated capacity is. Its only a quick knock-up, the final version will be soldered, then fibreglassed together to give a very clean, OEM finish. The new higher capacity battery is estimated around 7aH. It sits about 1cm higher at the back, which is MUCH nicer for typing on at a desk and only adds about 100g more weight. Its an instant winner for me. I'm aiming for about 6/7 hrs battery. http://forums.msiwind.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1245
