Default Brain-Powered Car Monitors Driver Inattention

The world's first 'Attention Powered Car' is being tested by the Royal Automobile Club of Western Australia which utilizes a headset that monitors the driver's brain electrical activity. If the headset senses a distracted driver, it automatically makes adjustments to the car's acceleration rate. If you are asleep at the wheel, at least you will do it in a motionless car. The headset can tell whether a driver's attention goes from the road to the radio, when their neural activity dips, or when their blink rate slows significantly.
