Default ATI & Intel Unite against Nvidia's PhysX

The physics war is set to take an abrupt turn as ATI is going to adopt Havok's physics API very soon. Terry Makedon aka the "CatalystMaker" confirmed the news, AMD is set to demo this at a presentation at GDC next week. This leaves Nvidia with its PhysX API in a precarious position as the market share and the industry influence factor of the Intel + ATI combo cannot be ignored by game developers.

This marks the first instance where Havok's based physics games will be accelerated using the GPU as up until now Havok's physics API was executed only on the CPU.
