ATI Catalyst 5.6 and Beyond

ATI is bringing some new functionality to their Catalyst driver suite with version 5.6. They also give us a look ahead at some upcoming features that will make their way into the software. We cover the notable features of the new Catalyst and where it is heading.

gotta do some 01 and 03 benches with my 9800PRO to see if it's something good for 9xxx users

the raw scores haven't improved BUT there are changes in the details:

using 2xAA, 16xQAF 1024x768:

the pixel shader 2.0 went through the roof: 35.7 to 46.1, +30%
