As I recall past ASUS boards with only one PS/2 port will accept PS/2 mouse OR PS/2 keyboard. Can plug in either one, just not both. ASUS P5Q was this way.

True, would do the same to mine. But USB KVM switches cost only slightly more, don't cost a premium like they used to.
