| Asus Confirms It Will Release Windows 8 ARM Tablet Confirmation was made this week from ASUS that the company will be introducing ARM-based Windows 8 tablets before the end of 2012. Although the release date is not firm, it does provide confirmation that the ARM-based tablets will be available alongside the X86-based processors running Windows 8 in the foreseeable future. The announcement by ASUS may prod Microsoft to update its ARM-based Windows 8 status at CES next week. Microsoft hasn't offered much information on the release date of the ARM-based Windows 8; instead they have concentrated their marketing efforts on the familiar x86 version. http://www.hardocp.com/news/2012/01/..._8_arm_tablet/ |
