Asus Chromebook C302CA with USB Type-C makes a brief appearance
 

For a brief moment yesterday, it looked as if Asus had a new Chromebook ready for us to check out in time for the New Year. Chrome Unboxed spotted the Asus C302CA Chromebook yesterday at Newegg. The store briefly had a product page up for the device but eventually brought it down. Apparently someone at Newegg hit the "Go" button a bit early, though the site did manage to order one in the meantime. It seems Newegg will actually ship it, too.
