| ASUS A8R32-MVP Deluxe We met with ASUS earlier last week and explained our findings, but they offered no solutions and were not able to confirm our issues either. The issues described below do certainly seem to be BIOS related and not hardware related by the conversations that we have had about this motherboard with both ASUS and ATI, so we expect to see it fixed soon or simply be an isolated incident. Our issue was that our overclocking attempts while using a synchronized CPU and memory bus were stopped around 221MHz/442MHz (2 X 221MHz). When trying to overclock above 221MHz synchronized bus, the motherboard simply would not POST. If we unlocked the CPU and memory bus so that they were not running the same speed we got much more desirable results.
