ASRock Launches G43Twins-FullHD Motherboard


G43 is the new generation of Intel 4 Series Graphics chipset, introduced to turn personal desktop computer into high rank communication and entertainment centre. ASRock G43Twins-FullHD solid capacitor motherboard with Intel G43 Express Chipset works with all high efficiency FSB1333/1066/800MHz Intel CPU, enhancing overall performance with Intel® Fast memory Access and DDR2 1066/800/667 (2 x DIMM slots) max 8GB and DDR3 1066/800 (2 X DIMM slots) max 4GB support. G43Twins-FullHD with built-in Intel® GMA X4500HD, Intel® Clear Video Technology and 3D Graphic Enhance function including Microsoft DirectX 10, Shader Model 4.0 and OpenGL* 2.0 provide users a whole new experience of high-level visual performance and quality. G43Twins-FullHD allows complete FullHD 1080p Blu-Ray and other HD/DVD contents playback, including contents under HDCP with ASRock DVI_DisplayPort Card (Free Bundle). 6 x SATAII 3.0 Gb/s connectors, PCIE Gigabit LAN 10/100/1000 Mb/s and 1 x PCI Express 2.0 x 16 slot offers greater elasticity. Software like OC Tuner and Smart BIOS give user the convenience to overclock with easier measures.



Smart BIOS

The Smart BIOS function can be found in the BIOS Setup Utility when you are setting up the optimal configuration for your system. The function of Smart BIOS is to make things easy for you by providing some default BIOS settings.

Users may just select the BIOS mode that is most suitable to them. There are some Setup defaults in the Smart page that will be explained to you explicitly later.
l Load BIOS Defaults
The default BIOS setting of the system, you may have the original defaults by selecting this mode.

l Load Performance Setup Default (IDE/SATA)
The function will automatically adjust the system parameters to the best performance settings with IDE/SATA mode.

l Load Performance Setup AHCI Mode
Enable this function, your system will be boosted with performance BIOS with ACHI mode.

l Load Performance Setup RAID Mode
For system that supports RAID function, you may load the Performance Setup RAID mode. This function can boost the system with RAID mode.

l Load Power Saving Setup Default
To save the power and energy and save your money at the same time, you may simply select this mode. The setting will set your system to the most energy saving status.
