| Apple misses deadline to repay Ireland $13.9 billion EU says getting cash out of Apple is tricky The Fruity tax-dodging cargo cult Apple has snubbed the EU and not paid the 13 billion euros it owes to Ireland in illegal tax benefits. The EU gave Apple a deadline to pay the Irish what it legally owed them and Jobs’ Mob has not done it yet. EU Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager said that the recovery had not happened and it was working with the Irish.
