| Apple Customers Warned of Phishing Attack Apple used to be the system that the hackers and phishers loved to ignore, giving Apple users a pretty big comfort zone of false security, but no longer. Increasingly, Apple is becoming the target of attacks and users are going to step up to the plate and increase overall awareness and vigilance. This isn\'t the first such scam posing as an e-mail from Apple recently. In a less sophisticated attack earlier this month, a fake MobileMe message requested that users send an e-mail containing their username and password. http://www.hardocp.com/news/2012/01/...ishing_attack/ |
