Default Apple announces workstation-class iMac Pro

27-incher with Intel 18-core Xeon and Radeon Pro Vega

During its WWDC 2017 keynote, Apple has unveiled its most powerful computer ever, the new iMac Pro.

Based on the 27-inch 5K iMac design, with wide-color (P3) 5120x2880 resolution 500-nits panel, the new iMac Pro will pack some serious punch with 8-, 10- or even an 18-core Xeon CPU (most likely Skylake) and Radeon Pro Vega 56 or Pro Vega 64 graphics with 8GB or 16GB of HBM2 memory and up to 11 TFLOPs of single-precision and 22 TFLOPs of half-precision compute performance.
