Antec MX-1 External HDD Enclosure
 

Eat or be eaten, that is one of the most well-known business
phrases. With new external HDD enclosures from well known companies like
Cooler Master, Thermaltake, and Enermax, it was only a matter of time
before Antec stepped into the game. The MX-1 is Antec's first external
hard drive enclosure, but is this first attempt poised to eat up the
competition or fall victim to a late lunch?

There will be very limited gain in between SATA and IDE drives.

aim is to not the speed, but SATA drives are just cheaper than IDE:)

Not over here in the U.S.
Unless, cheaper = quality/performance :)

They are about the same in pricings because I have been watching for good deal lately until some one came in to offer me two in exchange for some work;)
