| Android L to encrypt devices by default Looks like Apple isn't the only one pandering to privacy advocates. As the Washington Post reports, Google has made a similar announcement. Starting with Android L, user data will be encrypted and inaccessible to the government by default: The Post says privacy advocates are "ecstatic" about the announcements from both Apple and Google.
