| The Android Dilemma - An Open Platform Open to Piracy? @ Techgage Unlike its leading competitor, iOS, Android is about as open as a traditional desktop OS. As such, piracy is no stranger here, and some developers speculate that the situation is made worse by the fact that it is in fact "open".
