Default AMD spoils Intel's fun with sky display

CHIP FIRM AMD often attempts to pull off a stunt at the time of the Intel Developer Forum.
And this time it took to the sky in a bid to remind Intel that it has a dual core Turion 64 notebook processor on the way.

Four or five planes flying in a line spelt out the words AMD Turion 64 Mobility in the rather nice blue skies above San Francisco.

At the last IDF, AMD kept a stretch limo near the Moscone conference centre, but were told to get lost by a cop packing a gun. µ

Default

More fun times to come.

1) We had S754 64-Bit ready without O/S to support; yet replaced by S939 which is the 'in" thing.
2) We had 925 Chipset soon to be replaced by 955 dual core.
3) We have SLI and awaiting game development.

I'd rather sit and watch how Intel and AMD play out

I do have to thank AMD for the last year end kick with it's stock return. I made some profit. I bought Intel stock early this year; and ready to pull the 'sell' button in a matter of days. And, thanks to Intel, I am sitting on some profit now.
