Default AMD Phenom II AM3 Memory Problem Fix Out Soon

We got word through the AMD grapevine that the AM3 memory compatibility issue will be fixed through a BIOS update as this is not a problem at the silicon level of the AM3 CPU.

This issue came up first on page 80 of an AMD Product Errata Document regarding DDR3-1333 with 2 DIMMS per channel possibly causing stability issues. The document also states that a fix is planned for this and it also stipulates a work around.

AMD's Phenom II for Socket AM3 suffers from a memory bug?
